Makeover Secondary Story

May 2018 Makeover

Julie Wubben, the winning mother of the Mother Daughter Look-A-Like Contest, was excited for her makeover and photo shoot. Stylist Emily Searvogel cut an inch off her hair. She then cut long layers to give it a wispy and full look. Julie’s hair was styled with Kenra Curl Cream to give her hair a soft natural curl and Kenra Root Lift to build volume.

Youngblood Barely Beige was applied as her foundation. Smashed Box blush helped contour Julie’s cheeks and brought out her beautiful cheekbones. Two Face Natural Pallet was applied to her eyes for a soft natural look. Brown eyeliner helped bring out her eyes and Pale Pink Smashbox Lipstick gave Julie the finishing touch.

Leah Wubben, the winning daughter of the Mother Daughter Look-A-Like Contest, had three inches cut off her hair. She also had her hair cut in long layers and thinned in order to give her curls a natural look and some movement. Emily styled Leah’s hair with Kenra Curl Cream to help keep her curls intact and to avoid frizz. Kenra Root Lift was applied at her crown and blown dry with a diffuser to help build volume.

Youngblood Barely Beige Foundation was used, and Smashbox Contour Kit was applied under her eyes to make them stand out. Two Face Natural Pallet was used on her eyelids, followed by black eyeliner.

Both mother and daughter were ready for their photo shoot!
