Laura Slosser, a marketing executive for Good Karma Broadcasting, wanted an updated look. She was looking for something new in both make-up and hair.
Jill Fakes, of KALJM Salon and Spa, gave Laura a dramatic makeover. She layered her hair to give her volume and added layers to frame her face. This cut also made her hair look thicker and healthier.
Then highlights of golden brown and blonde were added to brighten her beautiful face. GK leave-in conditioner was used to hydrate her hair and keep it looking healthy. A round brush was used to blow dry her hair and to add volume. Aveda Volume Spray and GK Taming Cashmere Cream were also used. Jill finished with a flat iron. GK Strong Hold Hair Spray was applied as the finishing touch.
Tyra Banks’ makeup line was used for the entire makeover. Highlighter and “Cheeks On A Stick” was used on her cheeks to add to the dimension of her cheek bones and to give her color. Tyra’s Smokey eye palette and an eye lighter were applied to the corners of her eyes and under her brows. Liner and mascara were also applied. “Do You Girl” lipstick was used as the finishing touch.
