April 2013 Makeovers

Alexandra Hartl

Alexandra’s makeover began with Alina Schmidt of Mane Stage Hair & Nail Salon freshening up Alexandra’s hair by cutting five inches off the length. Her great spring look continued with the lightening up of Alexandra’s naturally very dark hair. A warm brown all over color and some caramel highlights to the top and sides were used. Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum was used to smooth her hair before straightening and was followed up by a Shine spray. This is a very simple look and she is ready for spring.

Alexandra’s skin was cleansed with Mary Kay skincare products for oily skin which were provided by Daune (Dawn) DeVries. Matte finish foundation in dark beige was a great beginning for color cosmetics. Her brown eyes were accented with a blue eyeshadow along with some shimmery browns. Black mascara and black eyeliner really made her eyes sparkle. True Dimensions Lipstick in Rosette made her lips kissable.

So pretty!

Kris Erdmann

Julie Neis Mane Stage Hair & Nail Salon added low-lights to Kris’ blonde hair which gave it dimension. Some texturizing at the crown made her hair more sassy and fun. Thicken Up by Paul Mitchell was applied to the hair before blow drying. It gave the hair volume. The hair was finished with hair spray and to give hold and piece out the ends. Kris will easily be able to maintain this fun hairstyle.

Kris used Mary Kay skin care for dry skin and an ivory foundation provided by Daune (Dawn) DeVries. Shy Blush cheek color warmed her cheeks and eyeshadows in spun silk and hazelnut were a great color combination to highlight her eyes. Lips were glistened with True Dimensions lipstick in Natural Beaute’.

Terri Ziebell

Terri’s makeover began with Rue-Angela Carrier of Mane Stage Hair & Nail Salon suggesting that her hair was weighing down her face structure and cutting off a lot of length would be a great new style. Rue also added some face framing in the front. Terri had never colored her hair before, so Rue used a dark blonde with a touch of gold to warm up her skin tone. Bright blonde highlights were added for a natural sun-kissed look.

Daune (Dawn) DeVries provided Mary Kay skincare formulated for Terri’s skin type and evened her complexion with a light beige foundation. Her eyes were brought out with highlighting powder and hazelnut eyeshadow and mascara. Sunny spice cheek color was a great neutral shade to blush her cheeks. Pink Satin lipstick with Pink Sateen lip gloss was the perfect finishing touch to bring out her smile.
